OUR STORY
In June 2011, a group of believers from all around the mid-Michigan area began a bible study.
By October 2011, a board of directors was assembled, Articles of Incorporation were submitted, and the transition from Bible study to Believers Christian Church was complete. The following month the former Eagle United Methodist Church was purchased and services for Believers Christian Church began on January 6, 2012.
In 2017 we purchased and remodeled an administrative building that houses a food pantry and offices and a multi-purpose room.
When we grew to four services in our Eagle church, we purchased an industrial building in 2018 and began reconstruction of the building in 2020 during the pandemic.
In September of that year we dedicated our newly remodeled facility, and began meeting in the building. We are holding three church services and are looking for ways to expand.

OUR PASTOR
Pastor Phil McKinney

Pastor Phil is celebrating his 25th year in ministry and is more excited than ever to share his love for Jesus. A servant leader at heart, he is passionate about helping people truly know God, not just know about Him. His preaching and leadership flow from a deep conviction that grace transforms lives and that faith is meant to be lived out in everyday moments.
​
Second only to Jesus, Phil’s greatest love and devotion is to his childhood sweetheart, Becky. Together they have raised four adult children and delight in being grandparents to three grandchildren, two granddaughters and one grandson, with another grandchild on the way.
​
When he is not serving the church, Pastor Phil enjoys family dinners, traveling with Becky, fishing, and getting
lost in a good book.
